All things Melbourne Street Culture and the journey of Prahran Summer Jam | Daniel Ella and Eamon Larmon-Ripon | Ep 18
Welcome back to this week’s episode of Authentic Me. I feel like I have saved this epic Melbourne hometown conversation until the near end of Season 1 of this Podcast. (Season 1 is going to wrap up at Episode 20 with an all-new structure for Season 2 - so thank you everyone for joining me on this journey so far!)
***
Prahran Summer Jam (PSJ) is Australia's largest outdoor basketball tournament.
24 Elite teams consisting of some of Australia's most talented players descend on Prahran Park, just off Chapel Street in Melbourne, to battle it out for the prestigious Jam Championship. PSJ holds the largest cash prize in Australia when it comes to street ball. In 2019 the 5on5 1st Prize was $10,000 cash and thousands more in cash prizes for the 3X3 Champions and the highly anticipated Dunk Comp! With big stacks of cold hard cash and the prestige of becoming a PSJ Champion on the line, the competition is intense.
Prahran Summer Jam is a collaboration of everything basketball and there's no better way to hear about it than from those who have pioneered this journey. Lots of laughs and insights from these two boys, Daniel Ella and Eamon Larmon-Ripon! Always such a good vibe!
